When we first started this project of documenting our experiences, we thought the best way was to write an e-book (which is available on Amazon). We figured that readers would want to have offline access to a handy reference guide without having to worry about securing an internet connection.
But as we started living in India as Repats - the term used for that rare breed of diaspora migrants who have returned to their home after several years of living abroad - we began to notice huge changes across the landscape.
Many things have changed life in India for the better; others are for the worse. And quite a few have remained not quite different from the way they were 26 years ago when we first left India.
Our primary motivation for launching this blog was to share with you our fascination with Indian life. Yes, we could have published a new edition of the original book just about once each month but this would have been too cumbersome. With a blog, we could not only look at India through the lenses of a returning Indian but also open the section up to reader comments.
Our blog therefore contains all the information that's in the book, plus this page which is our new section on India trends. We hope you enjoy India's sights and sounds - though we intend to provide not much of either! (This is largely a text blog).
